Our own server also counts public pages it serves regardless of your cookie choice, including repeat visits. These access records contain the time, page path without query strings and approximate country, region and city from a local lookup database. Daily visitor estimates use a server-generated keyed hash of the date, network address and browser user agent; no visitor cookie is set for this estimate. The hash changes each day, and the report stores no raw IP addresses or user agents or sends them to an external location service. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable daily grouping; unlinked page views are still counted. Advertising attribution remains separate and requires consent.
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors find and use the Site: which pages are viewed, how long people stay, which qualifications attract interest, and which marketing campaigns or search terms bring visitors to us. This helps us improve the Site and spend our marketing budget responsibly.
Google Analytics stores information such as an anonymous identifier for your browser, the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. We have not enabled any feature that would allow Google to identify you by name.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
pq_attribution | ParaQual | Only after you accept: links a recorded advertising visit to a later enrolment. We record available Google and LinkedIn click identifiers and campaign/network tags. Rejecting consent removes this cookie, removes attribution links from page accesses and stops pending advertising uploads. Daily visitor estimates do not use this cookie. | Up to 90 days; removed on withdrawal |
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another using a randomly generated identifier. | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains the current visit (session) state for this Site's analytics property. | 2 years |
If you reject analytics cookies, Google Analytics still receives limited, cookieless signals such as the page address and the campaign you arrived from. These signals contain no identifier and cannot be linked to you or to any other visit. Google uses them only to produce aggregate estimates of overall traffic.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
